About Ha Vy Vu

I am an aspiring brand executive in the beauty and lifestyle industry, currently building my expertise through self-initiated brand projects and marketing studies at the University of Wollongong.

I have expertise in skincare, beauty, and makeup trends, as well as brand marketing strategy. My strengths include attention to detail, strong organisation, and cross-domain thinking that turns strategy into dependable execution.

I am looking for an opportunity to turn my deep passion for beauty into marketing strategies that create flawless, memorable in-store experiences — where customers feel seen, feel connected, and come back.

Brand Story

My interest in beauty didn’t begin with a trend or a brand — it began with a problem. As a teenager, I spent years visiting clinics for acne consultations, learning from dermatologists and skin specialists about how skin actually works: why breakouts happen, what ingredients help, and what makes them worse. Those appointments gave me a clinical foundation for understanding skin.

That foundation turned into a passion. I started researching skincare ingredients independently, tracking beauty and makeup trends, and studying how leading brands build their marketing strategies.

What makes my perspective different is that I am not only an aspiring brand executive — I am also a customer. I know what it feels like to stand in front of a shelf and feel overwhelmed. I know what it means to finally find a product that works and trust the brand that made it. I understand the story behind an ingredient, the feeling a product leaves behind, and the moment a customer picks something up and thinks: this was made for me.

That dual perspective — the strategist and the customer — is what I bring to beauty brand marketing. It’s why I don’t just want to build campaigns. I want to build experiences that are honest, considered, and genuinely felt.

What drives me

I believe the most powerful brand moments happen in the quiet details — the way a product sits on a shelf, the consistency between a campaign promise and what the customer finds in-store. My purpose is to ensure that great creative ideas never get lost in the gap between vision and shelf, so that customers experience beauty brands exactly as they were meant to be seen, felt, and remembered. That’s what I’m building toward — and every project I take on brings me one step closer.
